The story
Hi, I'm Ruupe
I've been producing music for over a decade, and plugins were always part of the fun. Finding new ones, testing them, figuring out which ones earned a permanent spot in my workflow. The ones that stuck were never the most complicated. They were the ones that got me a great result without making me tweak a million things first.
I started getting into programming in 2020, and pretty quickly I knew where it was heading. I wanted to build the kind of plugins I always reached for myself: fast, focused, and good-sounding straight out of the box. FRCTL is where that finally happened, started at the beginning of 2026 from Finland.
Every FRCTL plugin comes from the same place. Simple on the surface, with real depth when you want it, and shaped by a decade of knowing what actually makes a plugin worth keeping.

How I build
Results first
A plugin should sound great before you touch a single control. Smart defaults, musical presets, and a sound you can build on from the very first second.
Simple on the surface
No walls of 300 knobs. The controls you need up front, deeper modulation when you want to go further. Constraints are where the good ideas come from.
Built by a producer
Everything starts on real tracks, in a real workflow. If a plugin does not earn a permanent place in mine, it does not ship.
